Despite a particularly grey summer, Laurence Valentin, a restaurateur in Paris, says she doesn't mind the below-average temperatures and rain showers, which make it "much easier to work with the mask on". Tourists are not put off either, appreciating "not sweating all day" while visiting the capital's monuments.
