Horse-drawn carriage & golden casket | George Floyd’s final journey

#GeorgeFloyd’s remains, contained in a golden casket, have been taken to his final resting place by horse-drawn carriage.
Thousands of mourners lined the route to Houston Memorial Gardens cemetery in Pearland.
Many could be heard chanting 'I can’t breathe' and 'George Floyd' – two mantras that have been heard at protests across the US and around the world since the 46-year-old’s death in Minneapolis on May 25.
Floyd died after police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes. Chauvin has been charged with murder and three other officers have been charged with aiding and abetting murder. All four have been dismissed from the Minneapolis Police Department.
