How NASA's new Mars rover will search for ancient life

NASA is sending its Perseverance rover to an ancient Martian river delta, where it hopes to find evidence of past life.

"Jezero Crater", as it's known, was chosen as a destination over 60 other potential landing sites.

It sports the latest landing tech, plus the most cameras and microphones ever assembled to capture the sights and sounds of Mars.
