The achievements of the two countries are something to celebrate as it shows the Olympics motto of Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together. But Andy Boreham, a China-based columnist and filmmaker who comes from New Zealand, found that some Western media have published articles downplaying and politicizing China's performance as a way to cope with potential defeat.
