Students protest in London following the exams regulator for England decision to suspend its criteria for students hoping to challenge their A-level grades on the basis of their results in mock exams.

The Education Secretary is under rising pressure as hundreds of students gathered outside Downing Street to call on Gavin Williamson to resign amid growing anger at the downgrading of tens of thousands of A-level result after marks were calculated by computer algorithm.
