Hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses remain without power in the US states of Florida and the North and South Carolina, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.
More than 80 storm-related deaths have been confirmed since the storm first crossed the US coast on Wednesday as a category four hurricane.
The clean up and recovery operations are expected to cost tens of billions of dollars
