'I'm too scared to send my child back to school because of Covid'

For many parents, the reopening of schools on March 8 cannot come soon enough.
But Mari-Anne Chiromo, a single mother who lives in London, does not share that sense of anticipation.
Both her and her six-year-old son Luca have breathing-related conditions and she wanted to keep him at home until she felt it was safe for him to return to school.
At the end of last year, however, his school said he had to return to class irrespective of his vulnerabilities and the family’s situation or face losing his place for ever.
