In full: Boris Johnson addresses MPs in Queen’s Speech debate

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has opened the Queen’s Speech debate.

In this morning's Queen's Speech, the Government pledged to bring forward proposals to reform adult social care this year.

It followed growing pressure for Mr Johnson to act on his pledge from 2019.

As part of the State Opening of Parliament, the Queen confirmed that "proposals on social care reform will be brought forward" - however further details remain scant at this stage.

The Prime Minister's spokesman later confirmed that "we will set out proposals later this year."
