With over 50,000 new coronavirus cases day, India has now crossed the 2 million mark. Yet the country has continued to lift restrictions, entering its third “unlocking” phase in August. It has taken only 3 weeks to go from 1 million to 2 million cases. While testing rates in the country have gone up dramatically, there are concerns the official figure of two million may not represent the true extent of COVID 19 infections in the country - are Indians worried?
