Twenty-two members of India's elite security forces have been killed during a raid on a Maoist rebel hideout in eastern Chhattisgarh state.
It is the deadliest battle between the two sides since 2017.
The Maoists have fought the government for more than four decades; they say they are fighting for the rights of poor farmers and landless labourers.
