CA, 16 Apr 2021
At least nine people were left dead after a mass shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, Ind. on Thursday, including the shooter who police say is believed to have killed himself at the location. Several people were also injured.

The shooting occurred late in the evening after 11 p.m. local time. Police said they responded to a report of shots fired and "arrived to an active shooter incident." They said they did not believe there was any further threat to the community after saying preliminary information showed the alleged shooter was dead.

At least four people were transported to hospitals, one in critical condition with gunshot injuries. Two other people were treated at the facility by medical staff, while "multiple" others walked into hospitals nearby, officer Genae Cook said.
