The European Union has repeated its warning that it will take legal action against the UK in the European courts if it does not back down on its threat to break international law in Brexit negotiations.
The collapse of the talks is creating enormous anxiety for communities around the border between
Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland - the fault line in the talks.
