Today marks the first day of early voting in Minnesota. A state that's gone blue in every presidential election since 1972. Now in the 2020 race to the White House, it is considered a battleground state and the Trump campaign hopes to flip it red. Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump, joins "The Rundown" to discuss recent polls, his father's critics and why he believes he sees more enthusiasm this election year than in 2016.

Michigan is one of the key battleground states that helped President Trump win the presidency in 2016, but now in that state and other battleground states, Trump is trailing his Democratic opponent Joe Biden in the polls. Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI) discusses the race in Michigan and weighs in on the upcoming first presidential debate.

Don't miss the good news with Tonya J. Powers.

Plus, commentary by Orthodox rabbi, author and lawyer Rabbi Sam Bregman.
