Islamic extremist is spared death penalty by jurors

(17 May 2023) Sayfullo Saipov, an Islamic extremist was given 10 life sentences and another 260 years in prison on Wednesday for killing eight people with a truck on a bike path in Manhattan and severely injuring 18 others. (May 17)
