While fighting between Ukrainian and Russian forces continues in the east of Ukraine, in the capital Kyiv, residents are returning to work and queueing for petrol. "This is the whole contradiction of the war in Ukraine," says FRANCE 24's Cyril Payen. "The west of the country and the capital city is trying to revive... a few hundred kilometers away war is raging." "Life is not back to normal, but everybody here [in Kyiv] is trying to work and get back to a sense of normality," he said.
