Polls have just opened for Kyrgyzstan's parliamentary election, 14 months after a tainted vote caused riots that brought down the previous government.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, President Sadyr Japarov said he has ensured this election will be 'free, fair and free of violence'.
He sat down with Al Jazeera's correspondent @Zein Basravi in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek.
