Officials from China’s central government are holding their first seminar for Hong Kong lawmakers. Huang Liuquan, a deputy director of the State Council’s Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, is leading the delegation which is expected to brief Legislative Council members and other community representatives on “national development strategy and support for Hong Kong” as presented in Beijing’s 14th five-year plan.
