Live: The spectacular sight of the Nujiang River in SW China's Yunnan Province
CGTN, 10 Jan 2021
The Nujiang River is one of the rivers within the Three Rivers Natural Reserve, a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage Site. Flowing in southwest China's Yunnan Province into Myanmar, it joins the Salween River and empties itself into the Indian Ocean.
The Nujiang River runs through more than 40 peaks in the prefecture. With dramatic drops here and there, the river rushes rapidly with high waves, forming a spectacular sight.
