Looking for love, Taiwan white rhino 'Emma' arrives in Japan

Emma, a five-year-old southern white rhino from a Taiwan zoo arrives in Japan, part of an attempt to widen the gene pool of Asia's captive-bred white rhinos. This is the first time Taiwan has sent a rhino overseas to breed. Emma's journey to find love was originally scheduled for March after she beat a herd of competitors for the chance to find a companion and breed. But complications caused by the pandemic pushed back her departure.
