Macron mulls preventive measures as virus rears up in France

With over 1000 new coronavirus cases confirmed in 24 hours in France, an increase of 26% in one week, French President Emmanuel Macron today chairs a meeting of the Defence Council to discuss possible new measures in the fight against the virus.
