Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has responded to violent protests demanding his resignation by promising to form a national unity government and dissolve the constitutional court.
Mali has seen its worst civil unrest in years, with several people killed during protests over a long-running conflict, economic woes, and perceived government corruption.
