CA, 11 Jun 2020
Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister outlined a draft plan of Phase 3 of the province's reopening during the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday, which looks to increase indoor and outdoor group sizes, and loosens travel restrictions by June 21.
According to the draft plan, public gatherings of 50 people will be allowed indoors and 100 people outdoors so long as they can stay 2m apart from each other.
Other things in the draft plan include increasing child care capacities to regular levels, and no need to self-isolate if you’re travelling from Northern Ontario or Western Canada.
There were no new cases of the novel coronavirus in Manitoba for the fifth day in a row on Wednesday. The province's total number of cases sits at 300. Eight people are still recovering and seven people in total have died.
