German Chancellor Angela Merkel says Germany is cooperating with allies in regards to evacuations from Afghanistan. During a speech to Germany's lower house of parliament, she added they will continue to do everything to enable Afghans' who have worked for Germany to leave. Following a Group of Seven emergency meeting on Tuesday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the Taliban must allow safe passage for Afghans who want to leave the country, beyond the originally agreed to August 31 deadline.
