Myanmar outbreak: Mistrust and fear drive patients away from healthcare system

COVID patients in Myanmar are having difficulty getting treatment in a public hospital.
A lack of resources and distrust of state-run facilities has led some people to seek alternative treatment options.
For others, distrust of the government has extended to its vaccination programme, with some people heading to the black market to buy vaccines.
