Negotiations continue over kidnapped US-based missionaries in Haiti
Al Jazeera, 21 Oct 2021
Talks to free 17 kidnapped members of an American missionary group in Haiti are entering the fifth day.
The gang responsible is demanding $1m for every one of the 16 Americans and one Canadian who were taken while returning to Port-au-Prince from an orphanage east of the capital.
Three children and two teenagers are believed to have been taken in the abduction, the largest of its kind in recent years.
Al Jazeera's Manuel Rapalo reports from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
