New Brunswick Education Minister Dominic Cardy and chief medical health officer Dr. Jennifer Russell are expected to provide an update on Thursday regarding the number of COVID-19 cases in the province and the government's ongoing response to the pandemic.
New Brunswick’s all-party COVID-19 cabinet committee met Wednesday night, where Premier Blaine Higgs expected the use of AstraZeneca to be a “major topic.” Higgs told reporters a recommendation could be coming from Public Health.
New Brunswick reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, although two of the cases involve New Brunswickers who are currently outside the province and isolating there.
