Novavax vaccine: 'Very, very exciting news' as scientist hails 89% efficacy rate

The #Novavax #vaccine has been shown to be 89.3 per cent effective in preventing coronavirus in participants, results that have been welcomed by scientists including Professor Adam Finn.
The study was conducted during when the new Kent variant was began to circulate widely and results indicate it is highly effective in preventing infection from the mutated virus.
