The one-shot vaccine made by Johnson & Johnson is effective at preventing moderate to severe Covid-19 across all geographic areas, according to analyses released by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on February 24, 2021. J&J’s shot could be the third vaccine available to Americans as the FDA’s advisory panel meets this Friday to discuss whether to make a recommendation to authorise the vaccine.
