Tamara Robbins Griffith quit her corporate job when the COVID-19 pandemic started and began her own interior design business to become her own boss.
She says her new job gave her the flexibility she needed.
Data shows that the number of new businesses has peaked during the summer of 2020, and Statistics Canada says nearly 250,000 people are self-employed.
