Lisa Nandy, the Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, has accused Boris Johnson of using child abuse survivors to distract from the slew of allegations that he attended lockdown-busting parties.

It comes after the Prime Minister said Sir Keir Starmer had failed to prosecute serial child abuser Jimmy Savile when the Labour leader was Director of Public Prosecutions.

Ms Nandy said Mr Johnson had reached a "new low".
