Pete Buttigieg could make history as first openly gay Cabinet secretary

President-elect Joe Biden named Pete Buttigieg as his nominee for secretary of transportation. If confirmed, the former South Bend, Indiana, mayor would be the first openly gay person to serve as a Cabinet secretary. Annise Parker, the former mayor of Houston and leader of the LGBTQ Victory Fund, joined CBSN to discuss what Buttigieg's nomination means for the gay community.
