Primodos Scandal: Germany to review pregnancy test drug after UK inquiry

The health minister in Germany has approved a review for the controversial pregnancy drug known in the UK as Primodos.

Schering AG (now Bayer AG) manufactured Primodos and sold it under the name Duogynon.

Many parents believe the hormone-packed pill damaged the foetus in the womb, allegedly leaving children with life-changing malformations.
