Tourists flock to see California’s famous sequoia trees, but record-breaking wildfires, driven by higher temperatures and extreme drought, have threatened the existence of these natural wonders.
Among the trees under threat is the biggest in the world - The General Sherman Tree.
Governor of California Gavin Newsom has announced a $15 billion package to protect the woodland, which contains trees dating back 3,000 years.
