Ryanair CEO criticises 'badly thought out quarantine measures'

Telegraph, 01 Jul 2020
Budget airline Ryanair will operate just under 1,000 flights on Wednesday as it ramps up its schedule which had been severely cut by the coronavirus pandemic, CEO Michael O'Leary told Sky News.

"I'm pleased to say that today we will operate just under 1,000 flights with a load factor of almost 70%, which carry about 104,000 passengers," O'Leary said, underlining the importance of the ramped up schedule to the British tourism industry through the key months of July and August.

O'Leary criticised the UK government's quarantine policy which he said was causing a huge amount of damage to the industry.
