Rescue workers have finally received signs of life at a gold mine in east China. This comes eight days after an explosion trapped 22 men underground. The first of six holes has now been drilled through to the tunnel where the miners were believed to be located. And nine taps on the drill have been heard, confirming that at least someone is alive. The hole will be used to deliver food and water. #goldmine #rescue
