Solo ski to South Pole by Quebec woman shatters record

Quebec cross-country skier Caroline Côté has completed a solo ski from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole in record time, trekking 1,130 kilometres in just 34 days.

Her goal was to take on “one of the most inaccessible places in the world,” and became only the second Canadian woman to achieve this feat.

Mike Armstrong looks at her incredible journey, and how the only part she hadn't prepared for was the toughest.
