Some EU states suspend AstraZeneca jab over blood-clotting concerns

Worries over the safety of the AstraZeneca vaccine have prompted major bloc members, including Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, and Italy, to temporarily halt usage of the COVID jab. The move follows reports last week of several instances of blood clots and one death among those who had received the inoculation in Denmark.
