The SNP leader has promised a new referendum on Scottish independence in the first half of the next parliamentary term, but only after having tackled coronavirus.

Sturgeon viewed Westminster contesting the referendum as 'absurd, outrageous and completely unacceptable' as the UK government would be contesting Scottish democracy.
