CA, 11 Jun 2020
Toronto Police Service Insp. Stacy Clarke says she felt "so much pain" after watching a Minneapolis police officer kneeling on George Floyd and that she shares the same pain as the protesters in the wake of Floyd's death while in police custody. Clarke talks about her experience of being a Black police officer, the calls for police reform, and the struggle to educate her children about anti-Black racism and systemic racism, saying that "it doesn't really matter what I do, they're going to experience it."
