Thailand: Huge protest challenges monarchy and government
DW, 20 Sep 2020
Pro-democracy protesters staged a huge rally in the Thai capital Bangkok. Thousands joined in a rare challenge to the monarchy. They want curbs on King Vajiralongkorn's power, fresh elections and democratic reform. Marchers handed a letter to guards at the royal palace containing a list of demands to the King.
