The 75th United Nations General Assembly session begins on Tuesday, in a special virtual format due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Before the official start, the General Assembly passed a resolution on tackling the pandemic, calling for "intensified international cooperation and solidarity to contain, mitigate and overcome the pandemic and its consequences." But the U.S. and Israel voted against it. So, how can the UN help promote better international collaboration amid the global challenges posed by COVID-19?
