Thousands turn out for anti-racism protests across Germany
DW, 14 Jun 2020
In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in the US, people in cities across Germany took part in protests against racism and social injustice. In Berlin, protesters formed a human chain around the city. They kept a distance of three meters apart in observation of coronavirus restrictions. Trade unions and religious groups also took part. They were all there to observe the memory of George Floyd. DW was at the protest at the Brandenburg Gate.
