This year's UN General Assembly also follows some big changes in the Middle East.
In his address to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump boasted of the "dawn of a new Middle East", referring to the Abraham Accords signed between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain last week.
“They are coming fast, and they know it's great for them, and it's great for the world.”
Not so great say others, because the US-brokered deal does not require Israel to abide by previous UN resolutions.
