Trump says he will leave White House before attacking reporters for asking him questions
Guardian, 27 Nov 2020
Donald Trump says he will leave the White House when the electoral college votes for president-elect Joe Biden, in the closest the president has come to conceding the election. Trump has so far refused to concede defeat and has made a series of baseless claims of ballot fraud and launched legal attempts to challenge the results. Speaking to reporters during his Thanksgiving Day address, Trump was asked if he would leave the White House if the electoral college vote went against him. "Certainly I will, and you know that " he said. An agitated Trump also clashed with a reporter after the line of questioning, calling him a lightweight and saying "don't ever talk to the president like that".
