The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge has reopened as Typhoon Nuri died down. It was the second typhoon of this year and made landfall this morning on Hailing Island in southern China's Guangdong Province. Much of the region is expected to see heavy rainfall on Sunday and Monday. Southern China has been seeing downpours for more than a week now. Over a dozen people have been killed and hundreds of thousands evacuated. The rain has been moving north, and has hit the provinces of Henan, Hubei, and Hunan. Houses and shops have been flooded in the city of Chongqing in southwest China, forcing thousands to evacuate. CGTN's Chen Xiaoshu has more.
