In the U.S., local media reported that an #American university has cancelled an exchange program involving 15 #Chinese researchers. The visiting scholars are expected to leave the country after the University of North Texas cut ties with the organization that funds them – the Chinese Scholarship Council. Their visas were revoked on August 26. The school has also terminated their e-mail accounts and said they must be accompanied during any campus visits before their departures.
