UK finance minister announces employment bonus and tax cuts

The UK’s finance minister Rishi Sunak has announced an economic stimulus package to aid Britain’s post-coronavirus recovery. The measures include temporary changes to stamp duty, a large VAT cut, and a 2 billion pound scheme to make homes more energy efficient. FRANCE 24 correspondent Benedicte Paviot says the opposition Labour party supports the measures but says the package does not go far enough.
