British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that Covid restrictions are being tightened again to help combat the spread of the new Omicron variant.
But there are big questions over Johnson's authority.
The annoucement comes hours after he was forced to apologise for a video of his staff joking about holding a Christmas party during last year's lockdown.
