UK wants to fix Northern Ireland trade treaty, says Johnson

Speaking at an event to mark the completion of London's new Elizabeth tube train line, Boris Johnson said he wanted to fix the Northern Ireland protocol and would work with European Union partners to do so.

The prime minister added that the government's 'highest duty' was to the Good Friday agreement and peace process, and that he would work to 'ensure the east-west trade and the integrity of the UK internal market'
