Hundreds of Mariupol residents waited in long queues to receive deliveries of humanitarian aid supplied by Russia. Boxes had the letter "Z" on them which is a sign of the Russian military.
One resident known as Svetlana said that she has "absolutely nothing just a blown-up house" following the invasion of the southern Ukrainian port.
Authorities claimed the city was being hit by 50 to 100 bombs each day. They have recorded more than 2,500 dead, though estimate the real total may be closer to 20,000 because so many bodies are lying uncounted and unburied around the city.
